Structure
The Department of Revenue (DOR) administers ORMAP, with recommendations from the ORMAP advisory and technical committees.

Funding Source

Money to fund ORMAP comes from a $1.00 per document recording and filing fee charged at the county level. These funds are deposited and credited to the fund on a quarterly basis.

Funding Process

To apply for funds a county must take the following steps:

  • Be present at all meetings to present the grant proposal;
  • Submit the completed ORMAP grant application to DOR on or before the due date;
  • DOR will review the proposal for completeness, compliance with the Funding Criteria and ORMAP Policy;
  • The proposal will be submitted to the technical committee (Tech Group) for review. The Tech Group will send a recommendations to the Advisory Committee and to the Director of the Department of Revenue;
  • The advisory committee will give its recommendation to the DOR director who will either approve or deny the proposal.
