ORMAP Technical Group
The ORMAP technical committee is a voluntary group made up of representatives of
the stakeholders of the base map system including state, local, federal, public,
and private areas. Vendors are welcome to participate in a nonvoting, nondecision-making role.
The group reviews all grant proposals before they are presented for
approval to the advisory committee or the DOR director. The committee uses
the following criteria when reviewing proposals:

Does the grant application:
- have a timeline-is it realistic in relationship to the request?
- clearly state the cost of the project and is it cost effective?
- have measurable results?
- clearly describe how the project will help the county/region move forward
to accomplishing the ORMAP goals.
- adhere to the ORMAP Exchange Data Standards?
The committee meets twice each review period. The current review periods occur in the spring
and fall of each year.
